ABOUT
When I was eight years old, my mom bought me a book that sparked my entrepreneurial imagination.
I was so excited after I read the book that I decided I wanted to start my own lemonade business
and I🍋BK was born.
After a lot of research and one earnest attempt, we landed on our signature lemonade and decided it was time to share it with the world. With my lemonade and Sharpie-marker-drawn sign in tow, my mom took me to the heart of Brooklyn – Fort Greene Park. We setup shop at a picnic table and I went to work. Within two hours we were all sold out and when it was all said and done, I made a whopping $196!!!
Exhilarated and encouraged by my success, we decided to share I🍋BK with the world. Now, at age ten, I am humbled and grateful to be shipping my lemonade nationwide. In addition to perfecting my lemonade recipe, I co-authored my first book with my mom. Launched in January 2021,
“Mulani Moneybags Starts a Business”
is the inspiring true story of how I🍋BK came to be and teaches other kids to go after their dreams.
